Jamie Lee Curtis' new job
is (not surprisingly) one she's had all along: Mom.
She describes her life as
"so filled with my children, my family, and the
charitable work I do." Curtis is Mom to daughter
Annie and son Thomas.
Star of the horror film
"Halloween," she's replaced acting with creative work
that is more conducive to raising a family. She is
the author of several children's book and a
photographer. Her published work includes Tell
Me Again About the Night I Was Born, Where Do Balloons
Go, Today I Feel Silly, Other Moods That Make My Day,
and I'm Gonna Like Me.
"My life is so filled, so
if I accept acting work now, it means I have to let
somebody else do the job I want to do, which is raise my
children. It's not that I'm retired, I just no longer
accept acting work."
