kidsreads.comJamie Lee Curtis' New Job
The actress says her life is full and she is no longer accepting acting work.

Jamie Lee Curtis' new job is (not surprisingly) one she's had all along: Mom.

She describes her life as "so filled with my children, my family, and the charitable work I do."  Curtis is Mom to daughter Annie and son Thomas.

Star of the horror film "Halloween," she's replaced acting with creative work that is more conducive to raising a family.  She is the author of several children's book and a photographer.  Her published work includes Tell Me Again About the Night I Was Born, Where Do Balloons Go, Today I Feel Silly, Other Moods That Make My Day, and I'm Gonna Like Me.

"My life is so filled, so if I accept acting work now, it means I have to let somebody else do the job I want to do, which is raise my children. It's not that I'm retired, I just no longer accept acting work."
