The
Secret Life of WAHM's on the World Wide Web
Stay-at-home mom turned work-at-home mom tells it like
it is.
There are so many women
working from home these days, it's hard to tell who is
who. Everyone is looking to sell a product or offer the
best work at home business opportunity. We are told how
to promote our business, sell our business and make our
business better. With all that information, who
wouldn't be confused? There are work from home resource
websites, free advertising, banner promotion, lists,
groups and lots of other things you have to know about.
It's enough to send you running back to work away from
home!
Finding a work from home
idea is the easy part. You will find no end to the list
of ideas and affiliate programs out there on the Web.
Need advice? Oh, there's lots of that out there too!
Everyone is an expert on one thing or another. Once you
figure out what it is you want to do, then you need to
find out how to do it. The resources are limitless.
One thing I have found in my time as a WAHM
(work-at-home mom), is other WAHM's willingness to help
you in any way possible. If you create an idea there
are dozens of WAHM's to help you make it even better.
When you are ready to
promote your business, you will find thousands of ways
to advertise right on the web. Anything from banner
advertising to free classifieds to online communities.
Of course you will be bombarded with other WAHM's
wanting to sell you their products and services too.
All of a sudden you are in WAHM WORLD! It's better than
the mall! No fighting over parking spaces, no dragging
around the children, and you don't even have to get out
of your chair! You can barter with others, you can
auction your products, (that's another addiction
altogether) and you can just flat out give your stuff
away to promote yourself!
No matter what you do or
product you sell, you will always find new friends on
the World Wide Web: other WAHM's doing what you are
doing and staying home with the kids. It's a different
way of life and your friends who go to their 9 to 5 jobs
in an office will never understand. You will meet other
women who spend most of the day helping other women
succeed at staying home. You will find playgroups
online and ideas to keep the kids happy while you are in
WAHM land. You will laugh with the WAHM's and cry with
them too. But one thing is for certain; you lead a
double life now. The secret life of a WAHM is awesome
and inspiring! You will never want to leave home
again! Except to go to the park of course.
